“Take Charge of Your Estate” a four-part intensive livestream Estate Planning Bootcamp that equips you with the necessary tools and techniques for success.

OVERVIEW OF CONTENT:

Day 1: Introduction – Choosing the right documents for your estate plan

The two main documents that comprise an estate plan are a will and/or trust.
Other documents might be right for you – e.g. Family partnership. You will create
your plan with your attorney. Our goal is to prepare you for that meeting. Each
state has different thresholds to determine if probate is required. In addition,
financial institutions may have their own requirements.

Day 2: Create your letter of intent

Essentially, a letter of intent is a blueprint for other estate planning decisions not covered in the actual legal document(s) you choose. This letter outlines intentions, instructions and specific preferences regarding your estate. The letter of intent can ensure that your wishes are carried out properly and consistently. It is an informal document that will give your executor, trustee and loved ones important information about personal and financial matters after your death. Letters of intent are not legally binding and do not replace your need for a will or living trust.

Day 3: Develop an effective asset list

Make your asset list – a list of items you own which have value and/or may be subject to inheritance tax. This information is crucial to give to your attorney to prepare your estate documents.

Day 4: Health Directive & Durable Power of Attorney

Health directive or durable power of attorney for healthcare and financial power of attorney identifying a trusted representative is crucial to serve in this capacity. Both of these documents are important during your lifetime to declare your health wishes and name one person to step in and handle financial matters, as simple as paying bills if you become incapacitated.

Cost:  $99  * Includes all four days of the bootcamp plus you will receive exclusive access to the recorded program after the event ends to review.

Planning your estate can be a daunting task. There are many decisions to make, forms to complete and emotions to deal with it. With my intensive bootcamp, you can learn the process of planning your estate and overcome the obstacles that get in the way.
